Evolution Icelandics

Evolution Icelandics is a sprawling ranch property near the foot of Mount Rainier in Washington, USA.

Our establishment consists of three main facilities: the kennels, the cattery, and the stables. Our kennel buildings feature large, spacious kennel areas with indoor/outdoor runs in order to accommodate more of a pack habitation as opposed to individuals all kept separately. Next door to this is a spacious building primarily used as a training center but can be utilized for indoor shows as well. The cattery is mainly an indoor facility with lots of climbing and windows with special access to a large catio for outdoor stimulation and a large activity room that can be used for cat shows. Our temperature controlled stables feature large stalls, two tack rooms, bathroom, kitchenette, and wide, non-slip walkways. The stables is nestled between our indoor riding arena, which can also be used for indoor dog sports, and our livestock housing/pastures.

Outside of our main buildings, we have two, 1-acre run yards for our dogs and 6 pastures for our horses to turn out. In addition to this, we have a regulation-sized field area for herding connected to our livestock housing, a large lure coursing field complete with outside race track for dogs, two sport fields that can be used for obedience, rally, agility, bitework, etc., two horse rings complete with various horse sport equipment for training and shows, and finally, a parking area and access to an excellent mushing trail.

While our primary specialty is animals native to Iceland, we also have sub-specialties in sighthounds, large working dogs, and ponies. Additionally, you'll find a variety of other dog, horse, and cat breeds as well as a handful of breed development animals.
